A number of industrial properties in Northampton have recently been snapped up by car repairers says commercial property agent Prop-Search.
Last month saw the opening of Concorde Auto Centre’s latest and largest branch. Acting on behalf of Aviva Life & Pensions, the 19,696 sq ft facility at Brackmills Business Park, Rhosili Road has been let by Prop-Search for a term of 10 years. Concorde’s new head office and servicing facility will be based at the unit which is located next to Barclaycard.
As part of its commitment to the area, Concorde is offering employees of local Northampton and Northamptonshire organisations exclusive offers across their range of services. These include reduced rates on tyres, schedules servicing and MoT tests. Concorde has successfully run staff discount schemes across their network of branches in Peterborough, Wisbech, Leicester and Norwich and organisations that have already taken advantage of it include HSBC Merchant Services, Ikea, Igo4, Virgin Media and Bauer Media.
A family run business, Jackson’s MOT Centre, has also expanded and relocated to new premises at Heathfield Way, joining occupiers including Castle Coachworks, Jones Wholesale, Drain Center and Mr Clutch. The company, which has been run by Graham Jackson & Son since 1996, has taken a new lease on the 7,053 sq ft property for a term of five years.
The new branch will be run by Charlie Jackson who has built his own Ford Fiesta Cosworth Rally Car and competed in the BTRDA National rally and finished 2nd Junior in his class. In 2009 Jackson's built a custom Ford Escort Cosworth track car for competing in the 2010 National Saloon Series. They are recognised by the Good Garage Scheme, Remit and various other motoring organisations.
